Pastor Doug Landers & Mrs. Amy “AJ” Landers
Pastor Doug Landers is from Waco, Texas where he served as the Youth Pastor for 20 years at Parkview Baptist Church. Pastor Doug accepted Christ as his Savior in 1999. Raised in church his entire life, he surrendered to the ministry at 18 years old and went to Louisiana Baptist Seminary where he graduated with his Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies.
Over the last 20 years, Pastor Doug started and hosted an annual youth conference in Waco, Texas called Extreme Measures Youth Conference (EMYC), where several hundred teenagers across the state of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico would attend each summer. He also took several mission teams to the field for service projects across our nation and around the world. He has served and preached the gospel on the fields in Ukraine, Ecuador, Jamaica, the Indian Reservations in New Mexico, and on the American Military Base in Germany. Although his ministry largely involved teenagers, he has also preached several revivals and conferences in different churches.
Pastor Landers has a burden for lost souls and desires to see them come to know Christ, be baptized, and discipled in the Word of God. He preaches under the power of the Holy Spirit and has a true compassion for sinners and the lost.
Pastor Landers is married to the love of his life, Amy “AJ” Landers, and has two grown adult sons that are saved and serving in their home church in Texas. Pastor Landers and his wife, Amy, love the Lord and believe that God has tremendous plans for them here in Pahrump through South Valley Baptist Church. Pastor and his wife love to love people and pray for opportunities to do that each and every day.
