Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, my prayer for each and everyone of you is that you have a blessed Christmas. With the New year in front of us, we look forward with hope and anticipation. I am not quite sure how in the past 50 years we have gotten so messed up as a nation. We aren’t supposed to say Merry Christmas for fear of offending someone. If we express an opinion about something that differs from the opinion of the left, we are a bigot or have an unwarranted phobia. We are not to have thoughts or feelings that the minority may not like.

I believe that it is well past time to correct that little problem. Merry Christmas! ”Tis the season”. It is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! The one who came to die for our sins! The bringer of salvation, to each and everyone who will receive it. Now I understand that not everyone will like what I just said, but I really don’t care, I am a born-again Christian and proud of it. Not perfect by any means, but through Christ I have the power to be better tomorrow than I was today. I have the power to achieve victory in the spiritual battle that goes on around us in the unseen world.

I am so very thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and all that He does for me daily. I will never apologize for that nor will I be ashamed of my faith because some small minded person wants me to think like them. This is truly the season to celebrate the baby born in a manger, lived approximately 33 years and gave His life for us! My prayer is that you will receive Him before it is eternally to late. He is Gods free gift to us. Trust Him while there is still time.

May God bless us everyone! Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Pastor John

    Dear John and Trish,
And this is one more reason why you are so special in our lives and the lives of our church members and the community as you continue to reach out to this valley. May God continue to bless and nourish you as you give of yourselves to so many. We are privileged to call you friends as well as our pastor and mentor.
Looking forward to Christmas dinner and our time together.
